Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has reiterated his confidence in having the full backing of the club and its fans, despite a string of poor results. However, Slot remains optimistic, citing the support he has received from the club's hierarchy and the fans. 'I feel a lot of support, not only from the owners but also from the fans,' he said. 'When we were in Paris after a 4-0 loss, the fans were singing and clapping for us, showing their support.' Liverpool are currently fifth in the Premier League, just one point ahead of Chelsea, and Slot is aware of the pressure to secure a top-five spot. 'We want to have the chance to play in the Champions League next season, so we have to perform in the league as well,' he added. The club has been dealing with injuries to key players, including goalkeeper Alisson Becker, but has been boosted by the return of club-record signing Alexander Isak, who made a 13-minute cameo off the bench against Paris Saint-Germain. Slot is hopeful that Isak can help the team convert chances into goals, saying, 'To have him back is really nice, and we are hoping we can bring him to the level faster after his great rehab period.'
