Nicky Richards Seeks to Extend Winning Streak at Hexham

Following an impressive eight consecutive victories, Nicky Richards is sending three horses to compete in the National Hunt events at Hexham on Monday. Jamesieconn, part of the in-form Richards team, is looking to secure a fourth consecutive win in the Mick Walsh Open Ditch Handicap Chase. Having previously demonstrated a preference for the three-mile distance and good ground, Jamesieconn will face a new challenge with an additional 5lbs, now marked at 100. Despite the extra weight, it wouldn't be surprising if Danny McMenamin's mount rises to the challenge once again. Streamsforth Lad has shown improvement in his recent performances but is yet to achieve a win, and Nicky Richards will also be fielding Young Getaway in the Anthony Woods Electrical Lightning Bolt Handicap Chase as he attempts to continue his remarkable winning streak. Other notable competitors include That One, making his debut over fences, and Stuart Coltherd's Rightbackatyou, who previously performed well over the course and distance.
