Fury Aims for Devastating Knockout to Prove His Return to Form
Tyson Fury is seeking a crushing knockout victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov to demonstrate his return to top condition. Following a year-long retirement after his second loss to Oleksandr Usyk, Fury is set to make his comeback against Makhmudov at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Having based his training camp in Thailand, Fury is confident that he will be revitalized for the fight. "I'm doing what I've done before, but bringing back things I haven't done lately - if a 37-year-old Tyson Fury can perform like a 27-year-old Tyson Fury, then I'm putting things together," he stated. Fury expressed his desire for a "brutal knockout" over Makhmudov, saying, "It's going to be fun." Former heavyweight champion Joseph Parker, who has been training with Fury, noted, "The training here is difficult, but it's great to see Tyson perform in the ring and smash everyone. He's in top shape, and I'm excited to watch him fight." Fury believes his time away from boxing has increased his motivation, saying, "When you start out, you want to make money and get a house, but after that, you do it because you love it. I'm in a position where I do it because I love it, not for financial reasons." Fury added, "Having 16 months out of the ring has made me even more passionate about the game. It's incredible what an individual can achieve, and I've changed my life to become a world heavyweight champion, despite being an unlikely candidate."
