Sydney police have confirmed that a 39-year-old man, identified as David Warner, was stopped and arrested during a random breath test in Maroubra. The test results showed a positive reading, and a subsequent test at the police station returned a result of 0.104. Warner, who is set to appear in court on May 7, is currently the captain of Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League. His participation in the team's upcoming game against Peshawar Zalmi is now uncertain. Warner had retired from international cricket in 2024 but continues to play in franchise tournaments.
