Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Faces Court Over Alleged Drunk Driving

Dujon Sterling, a Rangers football player, has made a court appearance to address charges of reckless driving and driving under the influence. The 26-year-old allegedly drove at high speeds on multiple roads in Glasgow City Centre on January 4. According to the charges, Sterling drove into the path of other vehicles, lost control of his car, and exceeded the legal alcohol limit. The incident occurred a day after Rangers' 3-1 win over Celtic, in which Sterling participated. It is claimed that he had 60 micrograms of alcohol per 100 milliliters of breath, surpassing the allowed limit of 22 micrograms per 100 milliliters. During his appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Sterling did not enter a plea. The case has been adjourned until May 5 by Sheriff Jonathan Guy.
