Conor Benn has expressed his eagerness to face WBC welterweight champion Ryan Garcia following his victory over Regis Prograis on Saturday. Benn secured a unanimous decision win against the former world champion at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, despite suffering cuts from several head clashes. He swiftly turned his attention to Garcia, stating 'Garcia, I want my belt! Keep my belt warm' in a social media video. Garcia, who won the WBC title in February, responded by saying 'I'm down. Garcia vs Benn. Let's do it.' Benn's win over Prograis improved his record to 25-1, and he is now looking to move down to the 147lb welterweight limit to challenge Garcia. Benn has spent most of his career at welterweight, with his only professional loss coming against Chris Eubank Jr at 160lb, which he avenged last year.
