Nicky Richards Seeks to Extend Winning Streak at Hexham

Following an impressive eight consecutive wins, trainer Nicky Richards is set to send three horses to compete in the National Hunt event at Hexham on Monday. Jamesieconn, part of Richards' in-form team, is eyeing a fourth straight victory in the Mick Walsh Open Ditch Handicap Chase. Having previously shown a preference for the three-mile distance and good ground, Jamesieconn will be ridden by Danny McMenamin and will face a new challenge with an increased weight of 5lbs to a mark of 100. Streamsforth Lad, another contender from Richards' stable, has yet to achieve a win despite placing in various hurdle and chase events, and will be looking to break his duck. Meanwhile, Rightbackatyou, trained by Stuart Coltherd, will be seeking to capitalize on his recent form. In other action, Young Getaway will make his chasing debut in the Anthony Woods Electrical Lightning Bolt Handicap Chase, while That One will also be making his first start over fences. The Grand National has also been making headlines, with I Am Maximus recently claiming victory. Today's racing action on Sky Sports will also feature the Prix Sigy at Chantilly, where Soul Love will be competing, as well as the Prix de la Grotte. The Lucinda Russell and Michael Scudamore combination will be represented by two horses, Heads Or Harps and Choose A Copper, in the upcoming events. Other notable runners include Grant Wood, Wicket Keeper, Paddy's Day, and Albasheer, all of whom will be looking to make an impact in their respective races.
