Masters Tournament Groups Revealed: McIlroy Paired with Young and Amateur Howell

The groupings for the first two rounds of the Masters have been announced, with Rory McIlroy set to play alongside Cameron Young and amateur Mason Howell. McIlroy, the world's second-ranked golfer, is looking to become the fourth player in history to win consecutive Masters titles after claiming his first last year. The Northern Irishman will tee off at 10:31am local time on Thursday, while world number one Scottie Scheffler is paired with Scotland's Bob MacIntyre and former US Open champion Gary Woodland on the opposite side of the draw. A total of 91 players will compete in the opening major of the year, with other notable groupings including Justin Rose, Jordan Spieth, and Brooks Koepka, as well as Bryson DeChambeau, Xander Schauffele, and Matt Fitzpatrick. The tournament is set to get underway on Thursday, with wall-to-wall coverage available on Sky Sports Golf from 2pm.
