Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Faces Court Charges for Alleged Drunk Driving and Reckless Behavior

Dujon Sterling, a Rangers football player, has made a court appearance to address charges of dangerous driving and driving under the influence. The allegations against the 26-year-old stem from an incident on January 4, where he supposedly drove at high speeds through Glasgow City Centre, posing a risk to other road users and losing control of his vehicle. Additionally, Sterling is accused of operating a vehicle while intoxicated on the same date, with a recorded breath alcohol level of 60 microgrammes per 100 millilitres, exceeding the legal limit of 22 microgrammes per 100 millilitres. This incident occurred after Sterling participated in a match against Celtic, which Rangers won 3-1. During his court appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Sterling did not enter a plea. The case has been adjourned until May 5 for further proceedings.
