Rose draws inspiration from past Masters near-misses

Justin Rose is determined to capitalize on his past experiences at Augusta National, where he has come close to winning on multiple occasions. Despite a string of near-misses, including a playoff loss to Rory McIlroy last year, Rose remains optimistic about his chances. The former world No 1 has already secured a PGA Tour win this season and boasts an impressive record at The Masters, with three runner-up finishes. Rose reflected on his past performances, stating, "I hope it only boosts my belief that I can go ahead and do it [win at The Masters]. I feel like I've pretty much done what it takes to win. I just haven't walked over the line." He added, "I don't feel like I have to find something in myself to do something different - I truly believe that." Rose is focused on the present and is not dwelling on his age, which could make him the second-oldest winner of The Masters if he emerges victorious this year. "I don't think about it [age] on a day-to-day level," he said. "I'm happy that the narrative around it is more positive than negative, for the most part." With a strong mindset and a solid game, Rose is ready to take on the challenge at Augusta National and make a push for the title.
