Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Faces Court Over Alleged Drunk Driving

Dujon Sterling, a defender for Rangers, has made a court appearance to face charges of dangerous driving and driving under the influence. The 26-year-old allegedly drove recklessly on multiple roads in Glasgow City Centre on January 4, putting other road users at risk by driving at high speeds and losing control of his vehicle. Additionally, he is accused of driving with a blood alcohol level exceeding the legal limit, with 60 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, surpassing the allowed 22 microgrammes per 100 millilitres. Sterling had participated in a match against Celtic the day before, which Rangers won 3-1. During his appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Sterling did not enter a plea, and the case has been postponed to May 5 for further proceedings.
