This comes after England's disappointing 4-1 loss in Australia under the leadership of Stokes and head coach Brendon McCullum. Despite a tough period, Stokes remains optimistic about the team's potential, but Hussain believes the captain must prioritize his own game and start producing results. With a poor Ashes series behind him, Stokes is now recovering from facial surgery and is expected to miss the start of the County Championship season with Durham. England's first Test series of the summer is against New Zealand, starting on June 4, and Hussain's advice to Stokes is to go back to basics and deliver with the bat.
