My Highness Makes a Return to Deauville on Sky Sports Racing Today
Tuesday's racing schedule is packed, with Flat racing events from Southwell and Deauville, all broadcast live on Sky Sports Racing. Andre Fabre's My Highness is set to make her three-year-old debut in the Group Three Prix Imprudence, marking her return to Deauville. This filly previously made a name for herself by winning the Group Two Prix du Calvados at Deauville last summer, beating Fitzella. My Highness will face competition from Half Sovereign, trained by Karl Burke, who concluded her last season with a win in the Group Three Prix Miesque and is expected to show further improvement. Another contender is Isle Of Fernandez from the Kevin Ryan yard, who has shown ability in black-type races despite being only a maiden winner so far. In other racing news, Lexington Jet leads the field in the Sky Sports Racing Mile Series Final Handicap at Southwell, following an impressive win at Chelmsford. However, he will have to contend with the widest stall and a five-pound penalty. Tonal, trained by Ian Williams, is another last-time-out winner with a course and distance success, and hasn't been out of the money in his last seven starts. Rising Force, with a fine all-weather record, also poses a threat despite a weight rise. Sajir returns to the track, seeking to add to his sprinting wins after taking the Group One Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville last season. He faces competition from Jawwal, who has shown Group One form and may still have room for improvement, and Stolen Kiss, who has match fitness on his side after a decisive win at Chantilly. Other notable races include the G3 Prix Djebel at Deauville, where Samangan and Firefall will compete in a Guineas trial, and Brazilian Belle's attempt at a hat-trick at Southwell.
