Lampard and Hellberg Shortlisted for EFL Championship Manager of the Season Award

The EFL has released the list of nominees for the 2026 EFL Awards, with Frank Lampard, Alex Neil, Sergej Jakirovic, and Kim Hellberg competing for the EFL Championship Manager of the Season award. The winners will be announced at the annual ceremony on April 19, which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Football. The nominees for the EFL Championship Player of the Season award include Hayden Hackney, Carl Rushworth, Femi Azeez, and Zan Vipotnik. In League One, the Manager of the Season award will be contested by Michael Skubala, Graham Alexander, Brian Barry-Murphy, and Alex Revell, while the Player of the Season award will feature Dom Ballard, Owen Bailey, Jack Moylan, and Sonny Bradley. The League Two Manager of the Season award will be contested by Andy Woodman, Paul Warne, Micky Mellon, and Neil Harris, with the Player of the Season award featuring Aaron Drinan, Mitch Pinnock, Callum Paterson, and Omar Sowumni. The EFL Young Player of the Season awards will recognize the best young talent across the league, while the EFL Teams of the Season and Goal of the Season will be revealed on the night. The Contribution to League Football and Sir Tom Finney awards will also be presented, recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to the sport. Several off-the-pitch awards will also be given out, including the Community Club of the Season, Community Player of the Season, and EFL Environmental Award.
