Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Faces Court Over Alleged Drunk Driving

Dujon Sterling, a Rangers football player, has made a court appearance to face charges of reckless driving and driving under the influence. The 26-year-old allegedly drove at high speeds on various roads in Glasgow's city center on January 4. The charges include claims that he endangered other road users by driving into their path and losing control of his vehicle. Additionally, Sterling is accused of driving with a blood alcohol level of 60 microgrammes per 100 milliliters of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 22 microgrammes per 100 milliliters. This incident occurred a day after Sterling played in a match against Celtic, which Rangers won 3-1. During his court appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Sterling did not enter a plea, and the case has been postponed until May 5.
