Masters Tournament: First-Round Groupings and Start Times Revealed

The highly anticipated 90th Masters tournament is set to kick off at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, with a total of 91 players competing in the first men's major of the year. Defending champion Rory McIlroy, who secured a dramatic playoff victory over Justin Rose last year, will begin his title defense at 10:31 am local time (3:31 pm UK time) alongside Cameron Young, the winner of The Players last month, and US Amateur champion Mason Howell. Two-time Masters champion Scottie Scheffler will be on the opposite side of the draw, joined by former US Open champion Gary Woodland and Scotland's Robert MacIntyre. Meanwhile, Justin Rose will start his round later in the day, paired with fellow former world No 1s Jordan Spieth and Brooks Koepka. The Honorary Starters ceremony, featuring Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, and Tom Watson, will take place on Thursday morning at 7:25 am (12:25 pm BST), marking the beginning of the tournament. The competition will be broadcast on Sky Sports, with wall-to-wall coverage starting at 2 pm on Thursday. Featured Group action and regular updates from around the course will be available on Sky Sports Golf until the global broadcast window begins at 6 pm. The same schedule will apply on Friday, with an earlier start time on the weekend. The notorious Amen Corner stream will also be available, focusing on the famous three-hole stretch from the 11th. A feed of the fourth, fifth, and sixth holes will go live each day as soon as the opening group reaches that part of the course, and another stream will cover the 15th and 16th holes. With no rain forecast throughout the tournament, the temperature is expected to get warmer each day. Who will emerge victorious at The Masters?
