Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Faces Court on Drink Driving Charges

Dujon Sterling, a defender for Rangers, has made a court appearance to address allegations of dangerous driving and driving under the influence. The 26-year-old allegedly drove recklessly on multiple roads in Glasgow City Centre on January 4, putting other road users at risk and losing control of his vehicle. Additionally, he is accused of driving with a blood alcohol level exceeding the legal limit, with 60 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, surpassing the allowed 22 microgrammes per 100 millilitres. This incident occurred after Rangers' 3-1 victory over Celtic, in which Sterling played. During his appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Sterling did not enter a plea, and the case has been postponed until May 5 for further proceedings.
