Richard Riakporhe is set to compete in his third heavyweight bout, challenging Jeamie TKV for the British title on Saturday. The London-born fighters will face off on the undercard of the highly anticipated Tyson Fury vs Arslanbek Makhmudov match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Following his loss to Chris Billam-Smith in the WBO cruiserweight title challenge, Riakporhe transitioned to the heavyweight division, securing knockout victories over Kevin Nicolas Espindola and Tommy Welch. He now aims to claim his first title in the division. Riakporhe is determined to deliver a dominating performance against TKV, showcasing his formidable power. In an interview with Sky Sports, Riakporhe stated, "People are unaware of my capabilities in the heavyweight division, but they will soon realize I am a force to be reckoned with. However, TKV's aggressive fighting style could pose a challenge for Riakporhe. The challenger warned, "You're taking on a formidable puncher, and one mistake can be costly. It's difficult to maintain perfection over 12 rounds." Riakporhe feels that he has yet to reach his full potential, saying, "I haven't had my moment yet, but it's coming soon."
