Dubois Overcomes Illness to Claim Victory, Eyes Future Fights

Caroline Dubois has disclosed that she fell ill on the day of her bout against Terri Harper, yet still managed to secure a unanimous decision victory. Dubois, who unified Harper's WBO lightweight title with her WBC championship, revealed that she woke up feeling unwell on the morning of the fight. "I had the worst flu I've ever had, and I was thinking, 'Of all days, why today?'" Dubois said after the fight. Despite her illness, Dubois pushed through and emerged victorious. Her promoter, Nakisa Bidarian, hopes to match her with Katie Taylor, the undisputed two-weight champion, in the future. "My dream scenario is for Caroline to be Katie Taylor's last opponent," Bidarian said. However, Dubois is more focused on a potential showdown with American rival Alycia Baumgardner. "I want the biggest fight in women's boxing, and that's against Alycia. I want her next," Dubois said.
