Laura Robson's Grueling London Marathon Prep: From Melbourne to Miami

Laura Robson, Sky Sports Tennis presenter, has been training tirelessly for the London Marathon, splitting her time between Melbourne, Milan, and Miami. As she prepares to tackle the 26.2-mile course, Robson admits that the experience has been brutal. Despite her busy schedule as a television presenter and analyst, she has managed to keep up with her training, often relying on treadmills and running in the snow. Robson's goal is to achieve a sub-3:40 finish, although her Garmin and Strava suggest she has the potential for a sub-3:30. To fuel her training, she has been consuming a diet rich in carbs, including plenty of rice and electrolytes to stay hydrated. Robson has also been seeking advice from friends who are experienced runners, who have reminded her that consistency is key. As she enters her final week of intense training before tapering off, Robson is looking forward to the electric atmosphere of the London Marathon and the sense of accomplishment that comes with completing the challenging course. She will be running in support of the Give It Your Max charity, which provides free tennis lessons and support to children in schools.
