Richard Riakporhe is set to compete in his third heavyweight bout as he challenges Jeamie TKV for the British title on Saturday. Following his loss to Chris Billam-Smith in the WBO cruiserweight title challenge, Riakporhe moved up to the heavyweight division. In a statement to Sky Sports, Riakporhe expressed his confidence, saying, "I'm a serious contender in the heavyweight division, and those who underestimate me are mistaken." He warned that his opponents will soon recognize his abilities and acknowledge him as a force to be reckoned with. However, TKV's aggressive fighting style could pose a challenge for Riakporhe. The challenger cautioned the champion, stating, "You're taking a risk by fighting a puncher, and one mistake can be costly in a 12-round bout." Riakporhe feels that he has yet to showcase his full potential and is eager to make a statement. "I haven't had my moment yet, but it's coming soon," he said.
