Rose Ready for Another Masters Push Without Added Pressure

Justin Rose claims he doesn't feel any extra pressure to make up for last year's playoff loss at The Masters, as he makes a strong push for the title at Augusta National. A year after narrowly losing to Rory McIlroy, Rose is once again in contention for a major victory, following rounds of 70 and 69 in the first two rounds. Rose believes his past near-misses have taught him that he can win at The Masters, and he's drawing on that experience to fuel his current challenge. He's focusing on enjoying the tournament and feeding off the energy of the crowd, rather than letting pressure get to him. Rose said, 'I feel no added pressure or expectation because of what happened last year. I just always enjoy competing here.' Fellow Englishman Tyrrell Hatton is also in the mix, heading into the weekend just a shot behind Rose after a impressive six-under 66. World No 1 Scottie Scheffler had a disappointing day, bogeying both par-fives on the second nine to finish with a two-over 74.
