Alcaraz and Sinner to Clash in Monte-Carlo Masters Final with World No1 at Stake

Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have advanced to the Monte-Carlo Masters final, setting the stage for their first encounter of 2026. Sinner dominated Alexander Zverev 6-1, 6-4, while Alcaraz overcame Valentin Vacherot 6-4, 6-4. The winner of the final will be crowned World No 1 on Monday. Sinner has now won 21 consecutive matches in Masters events and 42 of his last 43 sets. He also extended his winning streak against Zverev to eight matches. Alcaraz, meanwhile, is seeking his second Monte-Carlo title, while Sinner is chasing his first. The Italian has won 12 Masters finals and is on a 16-match winning streak. 'I'm very happy to have made it to the final,' said Sinner. 'I felt solid from the start and let's see what happens in the final.'
