Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Faces Court Over Alleged Drunk Driving

Dujon Sterling, a 26-year-old Rangers player, has made a court appearance to face charges of reckless driving and driving under the influence. The allegations state that on January 4, Sterling drove at high speeds through various roads in Glasgow City Centre, putting other road users at risk and losing control of his vehicle. Additionally, he is accused of driving with a blood alcohol level exceeding the legal limit, with 60 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, surpassing the allowed 22 microgrammes per 100 millilitres. This incident occurred a day after Sterling played in a match against Celtic, which Rangers won 3-1. During his court appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court, Sterling did not plead guilty or not guilty, and the case has been postponed until May 5 for further proceedings.
