Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Appears in Court on Drink Driving Charges

Dujon Sterling, a Rangers football player, has made a court appearance to face charges of dangerous driving and driving under the influence. The 26-year-old allegedly drove at high speeds on multiple roads in Glasgow City Centre on January 4, putting other road users at risk and losing control of his vehicle. Additionally, he is accused of driving with a blood alcohol level of 60 microgrammes per 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 22 microgrammes per 100 millilitres. This incident occurred a day after Sterling played in a match against Celtic, which Rangers won 3-1. He did not enter a plea during his court appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court and the case has been postponed until May 5 for further proceedings.
