Lampard and Hellberg Among Nominees for EFL Manager of the Season Award

The nominees for the EFL Championship Manager of the Season award have been announced, with Frank Lampard, Alex Neil, Sergej Jakirovic, and Kim Hellberg making the shortlist. The winners will be revealed at the EFL Awards ceremony on April 19, which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Football. Lampard, who has led Coventry City to the top of the table, is joined by Neil (Millwall), Jakirovic (Hull City), and Hellberg (Middlesbrough), whose teams are all in contention for promotion. The EFL Championship Player of the Season award will be contested by Hayden Hackney (Middlesbrough), Carl Rushworth (Coventry City), Femi Azeez (Millwall), and Zan Vipotnik (Swansea City), who is the division's top scorer with 20 goals. In League One, the Manager of the Season award nominees include Michael Skubala, who has guided Lincoln City to promotion, alongside Graham Alexander (Bradford City), Brian Barry-Murphy (Cardiff City), and Alex Revell (Stevenage). The Player of the Season award in League One will be contested by Dom Ballard (Leyton Orient), Owen Bailey (Doncaster Rovers), Jack Moylan (Lincoln City), and Sonny Bradley (Lincoln City). In League Two, the Manager of the Season nominees are Andy Woodman (Bromley), Paul Warne (MK Dons), Micky Mellon (Oldham Athletic), and Neil Harris (Cambridge United), while the Player of the Season award will be contested by Mitch Pinnock and Omar Sowumni (Bromley), Aaron Drinan (Swindon Town), and Callum Paterson (Milton Keynes Dons). The EFL Young Player of the Season awards will be given out divisionally, and the EFL Teams of the Season and Goal of the Season will be revealed on the night. The League's two most prestigious awards, the Contribution to League Football and Sir Tom Finney awards, will also be presented. Seven additional off-the-pitch awards will recognize the outstanding hard work and commitment shown by clubs, their players, staff, and supporters away from the field of play.
