Benn Sets Sights on Garcia for World Title Fight

Following his unanimous decision victory over Regis Prograis, Conor Benn expressed his eagerness to face WBC welterweight champion Ryan Garcia. Benn, who grinded out the win despite several head clashes that caused cuts on his eye, swiftly turned his attention to Garcia. In a social media video, Benn stated, "Garcia, keep my belt warm! I want my belt. September, let's go, any day, twice on Sundays, 10 rounds, easy. Garcia, you're next." Garcia, the current WBC welterweight world title holder, responded by saying, "I'm down. Garcia vs Benn. Let's do it." Benn's win, which moves his record to 25-1, took place at a catchweight of 3lb above the welterweight limit. Benn is now looking to move down to 147lb to challenge Garcia for the title, having fought most of his career at welterweight, with his only professional loss coming against Chris Eubank Jr at 160lb.
