Skelton Overjoyed by Trainers' Championship Title

In recent years, Skelton had faced intense competition from Mullins in the final weeks of the season. However, with Mullins' entries limited in the remaining two weekends, Skelton is poised to savor his victory. Mullins, who trails Skelton by £2,094,034, congratulated the champion trainer after his Grand National win with I Am Maximus, effectively conceding the title. Skelton's triumph was marked by six wins, including three Grade One victories with Grey Dawning, Mirabad, and Bossman Jack, during the three-day Grand National Festival. He will receive the championship trophy at Sandown Park on April 25.
