Rangers Footballer Dujon Sterling Faces Court Over Alleged Drunk Driving Incident

A court appearance has been made by Rangers football player Dujon Sterling, who is facing charges of reckless driving and driving under the influence. The allegations against the 26-year-old Sterling include driving at high speeds on multiple roads in Glasgow City Centre on January 4. The charge of reckless driving claims that he put other road users at risk by driving into their path and losing control of his vehicle. Additionally, Sterling is accused of driving while intoxicated on the same date. The day before the alleged incident, Sterling had participated in a match for Rangers against Celtic, which his team won 3-1. It is claimed that Sterling had 60 micrograms of alcohol per 100 milliliters of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 22 micrograms per 100 milliliters. At his court appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, Sterling did not enter a plea. The case has been continued by Sheriff Jonathan Guy to a further hearing scheduled for May 5 at the same court.
