Although the Formula 1 season is on a temporary hiatus, motorsport enthusiasts can still enjoy a plethora of live racing action on Sky Sports F1 throughout April. With a wide range of events and categories to choose from, the upcoming weekends promise to be thrilling, featuring live track action on both TV and YouTube channels. This weekend, April 11 and 12, marks the beginning of the GT World Challenge Europe season, with Aston Martin F1 driver Lance Stroll making his debut, alongside the latest round of the Nurburgring Endurance Series. Later in the month, fans can look forward to the latest IndyCar season round, as well as historic racing from Goodwood and Monaco. Stroll follows in the footsteps of Max Verstappen, making his GT racing debut at the season-opening round of the GT World Challenge Europe at Paul Ricard, where he will team up with former F1 driver Roberto Merhi and 21-year-old F2 driver Mari Boya in an Aston Martin Vantage. The six-hour day-night race will feature 60 cars in France, while Verstappen's own Verstappen Racing team will be in action. The weekend's live coverage will also include support events at Paul Ricard, featuring GT3, GT4, and Lamborghini series. On the Sky Sports F1 YouTube channel, viewers can stream the latest Nurburgring Endurance Series race in NLS 3 on Saturday morning. The schedule for the weekend includes GT World Challenge Qualifying, Lamborghini Trophy Race One, GT4 European Series Qualifying, GT3 Revival Qualifying, and GT World Challenge Race on Saturday, followed by GT3 Revival Race, GT4 European Series Race, and Lamborghini Trophy Race Two on Sunday. Coverage of the 2026 IndyCar Series will continue on Sky Sports F1 with round five from Long Beach in California, featuring practice, qualifying, warm-up, and the race itself. As preparations for the 24-hour race in May ramp up, an NLS double header from the Nurburgring will stream on YouTube, with Verstappen returning alongside Lucas Auer in their Red Bull-liveried Mercedes GT3 car.
