Alcaraz and Sinner to Clash in Monte-Carlo Masters Final with World No1 at Stake

Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have secured their spots in the Monte-Carlo Masters final, setting the stage for a thrilling showdown to determine the new World No1. Sinner dominated Alexander Zverev 6-1 6-4, while Alcaraz overcame Valentin Vacherot 6-4 6-4. This highly anticipated final will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Tennis on Sunday afternoon. Sinner has now extended his winning streak in Masters events to 21 consecutive matches, having also won 42 of his last 43 sets in these events. He has achieved eight consecutive victories and 11 consecutive sets won against Zverev. Notably, Sinner has reached his 12th Masters final, his second on clay, and his first in Monte-Carlo. He has also secured his 16th consecutive win and has won 38 of his last 40 matches. Following his title wins in Paris, Indian Wells, and Miami, Sinner is now on a 21-match winning streak at the Masters 1000 level. "I'm very happy with my performance today. I felt solid from the start, and being a break up early changed the dynamic of the match," Sinner said. "Every match is different, but I'm pleased with how I played today, and I'm looking forward to the final." Jamie Murray praised Sinner's performance, stating, "It was flawless.
