England captain Meg Jones expressed her pride in the team's performance, saying, 'There were always going to be nerves, but we found ways to win and dominated the set-piece.' Ireland head coach Scott Bemand praised the spirit of the Irish team, saying, 'The second half was 12-12, and I'm really encouraged by the spirit the girls showed.'
