Prograis Predicts Benn's Risky Strategy Will Ultimately Backfire

Regis Prograis believes Conor Benn is taking a significant risk by facing him, and this gamble will ultimately lead to his downfall. Benn is set to return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where he has previously secured middleweight victories, for his third consecutive fight at the venue. Prograis, a former super-lightweight world champion, is moving up to 150lbs to face Benn at a catchweight with no rehydration limit. "I know I can win, despite them setting it on his terms," Prograis stated. "I've fought at 140lbs my entire career, so this is a big jump for me." Prograis expressed his confidence in his abilities, stating that he is not concerned about the weight stipulations and is focused on making the fight happen. He also revealed that there is no rematch clause in place for his fight against Benn. Prograis does not consider Benn to be in his league, saying, "I don't think so. I know I'm better." He views Benn as an average fighter and believes his own accomplishments far surpass those of his opponent. Prograis aims to use a victory over Benn as a stepping stone to another world title shot, saying, "It'll open up many opportunities for me, and I know it will lead to something big. I want to become a three-time champion."
