Coughlin Clinches Aramco Championship Title as Maguire Secures Second Place
Lauren Coughlin sealed a resounding five-stroke victory at the Aramco Championship, with Ireland's Leona Maguire and Nelly Korda finishing in a tie for second place. Coughlin's win marked her first LPGA Tour title in two years, earning her the $600,000 top prize. The American golfer carded a solid level-par final round to finish the tournament on seven under, never truly relinquishing her lead throughout the competition. Maguire and Korda trailed behind, with Korda ultimately settling for her third consecutive second-place finish. Coughlin's triumph marked her third LPGA Tour title and first in the United States, following previous wins in Canada and Scotland. The Aramco Championship, co-sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour and LPGA Tour, drew 38 of the world's top 40 players, with a $4m prize purse on offer.
