Tiger Woods Enters Not Guilty Plea for Driving Under the Influence

Golf legend Tiger Woods has submitted a not guilty plea in response to charges of driving under the influence following a car accident in Florida. The incident occurred on March 27 in Jupiter Island, where Woods' vehicle collided with a pickup truck, resulting in his Land Rover overturning. According to a sheriff's report, Woods exhibited signs of impairment at the scene, including bloodshot and glassy eyes, dilated pupils, and lethargic behavior. He failed several field sobriety tests and was found with two white pills, identified as hydrocodone, in his pocket. Woods claimed he was distracted by his phone and the radio before the accident. He has since announced that he will be taking time off to focus on his health and seek treatment, effectively ending his chances of competing in the upcoming Masters tournament. The case is set to go to trial, with a date yet to be determined.
