Unprecedented Coverage of The Masters: Live on Sky Sports
The men's major golf season has commenced, with Sky Sports offering more extensive coverage of The Masters than ever before, broadcasting live from Augusta National. Defending champion Rory McIlroy seeks to become the first consecutive winner since Tiger Woods, while world No 1 Scottie Scheffler aims for his third Green Jacket in five years. Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm, both LIV Golf League winners, also compete, with Cam Young attempting to follow his win at The Players with a victory at The Masters. Sky Sports will provide nine consecutive days of live coverage, including the Augusta National Women's Amateur and the Drive, Chip and Putt competition. Live coverage of practice days will be available on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with the traditional Masters Par-3 contest taking place on Wednesday. Wall-to-wall tournament coverage begins on Thursday, April 9, at 2 pm. Featured Group action and updates from around the course will be available on Sky Sports Golf until the global broadcast window brings full live coverage from 6 pm over the first two days and 5 pm over the weekend. Sky Sports+ will offer additional feeds, including Featured Holes and Featured Groups, allowing viewers to track players' progress through various parts of the course. Subscribers can download the Sky Sports App to watch The Masters on their phones, with the website and app providing news, highlights, scores, and a live text blog throughout the week. The Sky Sports Golf channel will broadcast live coverage, with extra feeds available on Sky Sports+. The On the Range show will cover the practice facility, offering news, analysis, and interviews, while the Featured Groups feed will showcase each shot of the selected players. Daily highlights and an extended programme featuring Paul McGinley and Brandel Chamblee debating the biggest storylines will be available. Jamie Weir will host special episodes of the Sky Sports Golf podcast live from Augusta National, with Sky Sports News providing updates and interviews.
