Hull Secures Consecutive Super League Wins After Fending Off Catalans' Comeback

Hull managed to withstand a fierce second-half comeback by Catalans, securing their second consecutive Betfred Super League victory with a 24-20 win at the MKM Stadium. Following their win over Leeds the previous week, Hull exuded confidence and made a strong impression in the first 40 minutes, scoring four tries through Arthur Romano, Lewis Martin, Logan Moy, and Sam Lisone. However, the tide turned completely after the interval, with Catalans responding by scoring four tries in 12 minutes courtesy of Lenny Marc, Leo Darrelatour (two), and Charlie Staines, narrowing the gap to two points before a late penalty by Zak Hardaker settled the match in favor of the home team. Hull scored their first try within four minutes, with Romano scoring against his former club. Their second try came in the 13th minute, capitalizing on a Catalans error, as Marc lost the ball near his own try-line, allowing James Bell to pounce and set up Martin for his fourth try of the season.
