Undefeated British Fighter Muhammad Mokaev to Compete on Ronda Rousey's Undercard
British sensation Muhammad Mokaev, who remains undefeated, will be featured on the undercard of Ronda Rousey's highly anticipated comeback fight against Gina Carano, set to take place on May 16 in Los Angeles at the Intuit Dome. Mokaev is scheduled to face Adriano Moraes in an MMA bout as part of the Most Valuable Promotions event, which boasts an impressive lineup including Francis Ngannou versus Philippe Lins and Nate Diaz against Mike Perry. Regarded as the world's top unsigned flyweight prospect, Mokaev has an inspiring backstory, having moved to England with his father after his mother's passing and now representing the KHK MMA Team from his adopted home in Manchester. With an impressive amateur record of 23-0, Mokaev transitioned to professional MMA, where he continues to maintain his undefeated status, with seven of his notable victories taking place in the UFC. "I have respect for all involved and I'm looking forward to delivering a great performance," Mokaev stated. Moraes, on the other hand, has made a name for himself in ONE Championship, where he became a multiple-time flyweight world champion, known for his leadership, discipline, and resilience. "I've turned every struggle into strength, and when I step into the cage, I carry my story and the belief that hard work always pays off," Moraes said. Additionally, Junior Dos Santos will compete in a heavyweight bout against Cuba's Robelis Despaigne. Dos Santos rose to fame in 2011 after defeating Cain Velasquez to claim the heavyweight title, showcasing his exceptional boxing skills, speed, and precision. Throughout his career, he has faced elite fighters, including Stipe Miocic, Alistair Overeem, and Ngannou, and is recognized for his striking ability and knockout power. Dos Santos expressed his excitement, saying, "Fighting is my greatest motivation, and I'm thrilled to be competing again."
