Beau Greaves Rebounds from Uncommon Defeat with Consecutive Wins in Wigan

Beau Greaves regained her dominance in the PDC Women's Series, securing back-to-back titles in Wigan on Sunday. Following a rare loss that ended her 114-game winning streak on Saturday, Greaves bounced back the next day to initiate a new sequence of victories. In Event Seven, she overpowered Chris Savvery before defeating Courtney Hine, Noa-Lynn van Leuven, and Kyana Frauenfelder, dropping only two legs in three games. Greaves then carried her momentum into Event Eight, opening with an average of over 98 in a sweep against Carly Chenery, followed by a win over Lorraine Hyde in round two. Her confident victories over Jade Gofford, Kim Holden, and Deta Hedman propelled her to another semi-final, where she outperformed Laura Turner. In her second final of the day, Greaves achieved a 5-1 victory, sealing the win with an 11-darter. Having secured three of four titles at the weekend, Greaves extended her lead to £10,150 ahead of Lisa Ashton, while Fallon Sherrock solidified her third-place spot after reaching two finals. The Women's Series will continue with Events Nine and 10 in Leicester on May 16, with the top three players qualifying for the 2026/27 Paddy Power World Darts Championship.
