England's Australia Tour Dates Announced

England is set to embark on a tour of Australia, featuring three one-day internationals and five T20 internationals, scheduled to take place across November and December. The tour commences with the first ODI in Perth on November 13, followed by additional 50-over matches in Adelaide on November 15 and Hobart on November 18. The T20 segment of the tour begins in Melbourne on November 21, with subsequent matches in Gold Coast on November 24, Brisbane on November 27, Sydney on November 29, and Canberra on December 2. Following the Australia tour, England will travel to South Africa for a series of three Tests and three one-day internationals, scheduled from December 17 to January 15. In March 2027, England will return to Australia for a one-off Test match at the MCG, marking the 150th anniversary of the inaugural Test match played in 1877. The historic day-night Test is set to take place from March 11-15, with King Charles invited to attend. England's preparation for the upcoming tour is expected to include a warm-up fixture prior to the pink-ball Test match at the MCG. The team's previous streamlined preparation for the 2025-26 Ashes series was met with criticism, as they went on to lose the series 4-1. The next Ashes series is scheduled to take place in England in 2027, with matches to be held at various venues, including Lord's, The Kia Oval, Edgbaston, Trent Bridge, and Southampton's Utilita Bowl. England's 2026 home summer will feature Test matches against New Zealand and Pakistan, as well as white-ball assignments against India and Sri Lanka, commencing with the New Zealand Test series at Lord's from Thursday, June 4.
