Gumberg Claims Second DP World Tour Victory at Hainan Classic
American golfer Jordan Gumberg secured his second DP World Tour title with a thrilling one-stroke victory at the Hainan Classic. Gumberg, who earned his tour card last season with a dramatic eagle, edged out Jorge Campillo in the final round. He carded a two-under 70 to finish 19 under par, while Campillo's birdie attempt on the last hole failed to drop, leaving him one shot back. The two leaders were neck and neck heading into the final round, with both birdying the first hole. Campillo briefly took the lead but back-to-back bogeys proved costly, allowing Gumberg to stay ahead. England's Marcus Armitage finished tied for third, while the DP World Tour now heads to the Hero Indian Open in New Delhi from March 26-29.
