'I've had a lot on my plate over the past week, and I'm thankful for the people who have been behind me,' he said. 'Golf can be unpredictable; you dedicate your life to it, only to realize that, in the end, it's just a game.' DeChambeau has become the third player to achieve at least five LIV wins, joining Joaquin Niemann and Brooks Koepka. His team, the Crushers, which includes Paul Casey, Charles Howell III, and Anirban Lahiri, also won the team event by a single shot with a score of 76 under-par. The tournament in South Africa will return in 2027, with revised dates set for April 22-25.
