Charles also warned that Wilder, particularly given his recent performances, should avoid Chisora, saying, 'Wilder, especially in his last few fights, certainly shouldn't choose Derek Chisora.' Unified champion Oleksandr Usyk has expressed interest in facing Wilder in the US this year, but Charles thinks that a fight against Chisora could derail Wilder's plans. Charles described the potential matchup as 'a fan-friendly fight because of their styles,' but emphasized that Wilder would have a 'big problem' if he faces Chisora. Meanwhile, Chris Billam-Smith has expressed his willingness to fight Chisora, suggesting that the prospect of competing for a world title at bridgerweight could lure Wilder into a matchup.
