Ferrari Reassigns Hamilton's Race Engineer to New Position

Riccardo Adami, the race engineer for Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari, has been reassigned to a new role within the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy. This change comes after Hamilton's underwhelming debut season with Ferrari in 2025, where he failed to secure a grand prix podium for the first time in his Formula 1 career. The move aims to utilize Adami's extensive trackside experience and Formula 1 expertise in developing future talent and strengthening the performance culture within the academy. Ferrari has expressed gratitude for Adami's commitment and contribution to his previous trackside role and wishes him success in his new position. The appointment of a new race engineer for Hamilton's car will be announced shortly. Ferrari is set to unveil its 2026 livery on January 23, ahead of the first pre-season testing event in Barcelona from January 26-30. The 2026 Formula 1 season will feature significant technical regulation changes, including major updates to engines and chassis, and all 24 race weekends will be broadcast live on Sky Sports F1.
